Meet the Team
Brett Jones, MBA MSN CNP
Nurse Practitioner - Owner
Brett Jones is a board-certified nurse practitioner (CNP) with a focus in substance use disorders of the adult client with or without concurrent mental health disorders.
He is actively seeing substance use patients in Ohio. His passion for treating substance use disorders stems from his years of experience as an emergency department nurse and ultimately a nurse practitioner; previously treating clients in the corrections system and more recently managing acute and chronic substance use clients. Brett possesses a confident, empathetic demeanor and demonstrates exceptional clinical skills leading to consistent, long-term, professional client/provider relationships. Focusing on substance use, he has numerous roles including, but not limited to: clinical practice specialist, medication management specialist, educator, and support person.
In his free time, Brett enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working on the family farm, and traveling with his family.
Cheryl A. Bowden, LCDC II
As a dedicated and compassionate addiction therapist with over 15 years of experience, I specialize in helping individuals overcome substance abuse and addiction.
My career has been devoted to providing empathetic, evidence-based support and guidance to those struggling with addiction, empowering them to achieve lasting recovery and improved well-being. I have successfully treated numerous clients, developed and implemented individualized treatment plans incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP). I conduct group therapy sessions, lead
workshops on addiction and recovery, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. My expertise includes crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and
family counseling. I hold an Associate’s degree in Addiction Counseling from Suffolk Community College and am a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LCDC II) in Ohio. I am a member of the
American Counseling Association (ACA) and the National Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC). Passionate about mental health advocacy, I volunteer with local support groups and enjoy practicing mindfulness, meditation, and engaging in outdoor activities.
I am committed to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and continually enhancing my skills and knowledge in the field of addiction therapy.
